John grew up in a small town just east of Flint, MI. After many years in school and 37 years living in Ohio John retired to Bristol, ME where he lives on the shore of the Pemaquid River and is supported by his working wife.

John plays bass guitar and an occasional rhythm guitar. Most of his band experience has come as playing either bass or acoustic guitar as part of a church worship team. Before moving to Maine John played bass in the Saure Notes bluegrass band. Mostly John loves to sing and has a particular love of harmony.
